The Air Jordan 5 was designed by Tinker Hatfield and released for the first time in 1990. Fresh features back then was the clear rubber sole, the lace locks, and the reflective tongue. Tinker Hatfield is supposed to have drawn inspiration from a World War II fighter airplane (the P-40 Warhawk), and this can be seen on the midsole shark teeth design. The Air Jordan 5 Retro (136027-010) with colorway Black/Metallic Silver-Varsity Red have been retroed before, but sold out quickly. Look for these iconic basketball kicks to release at Shelta on August 19th.
