Har tyvärr aldrig varit något större fan av musiken som DJ Nu-Mark levererar. Hans fingerfärdighet som DJ är beyond this world, och han lär besitta en otrolig kunskap om musik och släpp som den extrema cratedigger han är. Men jag har helt enkelt aldrig riktigt kännt han som selector eller producent, varken han eller Jurassic 5. Detta har gjort att jag lämnat honom ifred och inte brytt mig om att lyssna på DJ Nu-Mark-relaterade släpp. Men i morse snubblade jag över två tunga mixar från denna kunniga herre, där han mixar lita halvt worldmusic-inspirerade breaks och låtar (bara en sån sak, jag och world music har aldrig riktigt klickat…), och det här är riktigt fett. Det är två mixar, “Take Me With You” och uppföljaren “The Brady Taboo”. Det här lyssnar jag på när jag idag sitter och skriver produkttexter till våra nyss inkomna Nike kicks. Jag gillar mitt jobb.

“The Brady Taboo” is intended to be part 2 to my “Take Me With You” mix on Mochilla/V-Tech. It combines World Music and dialogue from the Brady Bunch episode where they vacation in Hawaii and find a Taboo idle in the sand. “Take Me With You” is meant to accompany you on your next vacation while “The Brady Taboo” is what happens when a vacation goes sour.”
