As we write this, the new RockersNYC spring/summer 2011 line called “Wild in the Streets”, is being shipped over the Atlantic to Shelta. For this season RockersNYC go back to the basics with the classic american look that set off the streetwear movement at the very start. “Wild in the Streets” encapsulates the punk rock and hip-hop roots of RockersNYC, and takes the brand to a new level of versatility and wearability, while continuing to push forward in the industry. Spring/summer 2011 speaks to the politics of the time and the journey for social justice, with imagery that promotes the positivity and potential of youth culture. “Wild in the Streets” features some stellar collabos with some of our favorite brands and artists from around the world. At Shelta we will not be bringing in the full line fo this season, but we have meticulously chosen a small but representative selection that speaks for the complete line. Make sure to check out the colabs with UK brand MHI/Maharishi. And by the way, this RockersNYC line is 100% made in the US. The street revolution will be visualized!
